Lyndhurst Public School in NSW has proved that a school with just 28 students can draw the crowds, taking out top honours in the Muffin Break Great Bake Sale.

Open all to pre-schools, primary schools and high schools across Australia and New Zealand, the Muffin Break Great Bake Sale competition called for schools to register on the Muffin Break page on Facebook, before rallying ïLikesÍ for their school during the voting period.

The five-week digital campaign by Muffin Break officially closed last week with Lyndhurst Public School topping the national and state leaderboards at 581 of a total 17,468 competition votes for more than 2,735 registered schools.

As national winner the school wins a state-of-the-art You-Touch Interactive LCD Panel valued at more than $8,700, as well as the NSW state prize of 1,000 freshly-baked, low-fat, healthy-option muffins valued at almost $4,000, courtesy of Muffin Break.
