The Coffee Club has launched a special Greek menu, coinciding with the country’s peak holiday season and paying homage to the coffee franchise directors’ Greek heritage.

For six weeks the Taste of Greece menu will feature meals such as:

  • Marinated Lamb Yiros comprising strips of lamb marinated in Greek herbs and spices, encased in warm pita bread with tzatziki, feta and finished with a garden salad.
  • Spanakopita – spinach and feta baked in filo pastry served with a garden salad and tzatziki sauce
  • Lamb rack with lemon potatoes — lamb rack served with lemon potatoes, honey carrots and grilled asparagus, and finished with a red wine jus

The Coffee Club will also be offering two customers a chance to win a holiday to Greece.

“All the Directors and I come from Greek heritage so putting this menu together was like revisiting our childhood; the aromas of Greek cooking brought back so many fond memories of holidays I celebrated with my family,” The Coffee Club director, John Lazarou said.

The new ‘Taste of Greece’ menu will be available from 1 August 2011 to 11 September 2011.
