The Accor hotel chain has rolled out a new spa brand across Australia, from Bunker Bay in Western Australia to Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland.

Five of its existing hotel day spas have been rebadged, from Mii Spa to the new Vie Spa brand.

Vie Spas are now at Pullman Resort Bunker Bay, Quay West Resort Magenta Shores, Pullman Cairns International, Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort & Spa and Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa.

Each spa will have a tailored porftolio of treatments as well as a standard treatment menu. Some of the new Vie Spa treatments include a 90 minute hot stone healing and foot renewal treatment; a native clay hot oil body treatment; a blue cypress scrub, sea kelp and Indigenous clay wrap, and Italian orange and jojoba body scrub.

The award winning Australian made product range iKOU will be used alongside the spas’ existing Pevonia product range.

New furnishings and new signage in a colour scheme comprising light green, pale purple and yellow, is a distinct move away from the magenta colours of the Mii Spas.

The chief operating officer for Accor Pacific, Simon McGrath, said the rollout of the new spa brand was an exciting step in further strengthening the group’s leisure and resort offerings.

“The launch of Vie Spa has been close to 12 months in the making and we’re really excited to be unveiling Australia’s newest day spa brand to the market. We have plans to further expand Vie Spa in the Pacific and two more Vie Spa’s are set to open in New South Wales before the end of the year.

“Strengthening our resort offerings is one of the key drivers within the business so launching Vie Spa is a positive step in growing our portfolio and we’re looking forward to seeing our guests experience this luxurious, new day spa brand”.
