Nanotek – the future, now

Nanotek co-founder and CEO Jim Cornish explains the advanced technology car care company’s latest achievements.

“The main focus at the moment has been the re-branding from ecowash to Nanotek. This is a natural evolution of the business model to focus on our exclusive liquid polymer nano-technology. We have also been working very hard behind the scenes on further upgrades to our centralised systems as well as expanding our business model into different service delivery channels, including fixed sites and van-based operations.”

Originally founded as a boutique mobile car washing service, Nanotek has evolved into a highly efficient business model with the flexibility and capacity to take on high volume without compromising the quality for which Nanotek has become renowned. Nanotek was recently appointed to take over the car cleaning operations for Qantas valet services – this equates to servicing about 5000 cars each month around the country with fixed site operations at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide airports.

Australian innovation

Despite its global success (with operations in more than 15 countries), Nanotek is very much an Australian focused business – the recent decision to set up its international headquarters in Sydney highlights the company’s commitment to base system development in Australia.

“We believe the most innovative country for franchising is Australia and if you can develop a robust system here it will work all over the world.” Cornish reveals.

Having a global business network means Nanotek offers Australian franchisees pricing, technologies, experience, expertise and systems beyond the reach of purely domestic systems.

Nanotek has set the benchmark for car washing and detailing with the world’s top manufacturers choosing the Australian system for their most important events both here and overseas – recent events include the launch of the new Maybach Zeppelin, and the new Lamborghini Gallardo in the US – and this is the same service Nanotek’s mobile franchisees provide every day to their customers!

Despite all Nanotek’s advancements, awards and international expansion, this is still a very affordable franchise – you can have your own dedicated territory and access to Nanotek’s exclusive technology, branding and support systems for less than $50,000 start up for a turn key business!

Nanotek territories are still available throughout Australia – so this isn’t a phenomenon you can only read about, you can still be a part of it too.
