Home appliance rental franchise Mr Rental has appointed former Westfield Queensland regional marketing manager, Adam Coward, as its new marketing manager.

Coward brings to the table his expertise in retail marketing after three years with the Westfield Group and will immediately take charge of Mr Rental’s Christmas campaign for 2011.

“Christmas is obviously a peak period for Mr Rental and we’re currently developing an exciting campaign for this year which I can’t wait to roll out,” he said.

“The retail industry in Australia is an increasingly competitive market but Mr Rental certainly has a big opportunity with the growing trend of people looking to rent over buy.”

Mr Rental general manager Alan Payne said Coward has a great understanding of the industry and brings an enthusiastic approach to the team.

“Adam has a wealth of experience in retail marketing and his proven track record of strong results at Westfield, Virgin Blue and Colorado Group, together with his passion for Mr RentalÕs outlook mean he will be a big asset to the team,” Payne said.
