Jetts has expansion in  its sights this year. The 24/7 health and fitness group is looking to target a further 50 clubs to add to its Australasian network this year alone.

It hopes to add 350 successful clubs in Australasia by the end of 2015.

“Growth is strong in both outlet numbers per club membership,” Jetts Group, managing director, Adrian McFedries said.

“We have a focused strategy to go after suitable a-grade real estate for new clubs in NSW in particular.”

An average Jetts gym costs between $500,000 to $600,000 and requires a time investment of five to 10 hours  a week for franchisees, according to McFedries. Jetts has an accredited franchise system through Westpac.

The group is also targeting a 53 percent increase in turnover this year after reporting revenue of $74 million for 2011-2012 and average annual revenue growth of 219 percent over the past three years.

“The network has been consistent in achieving strong financial results. For club owners, it’s reassuring to know our business model is succeeding and the focus we place on the member is just one factor that ensures we take leading positions in rankings such as BRW Fast Franchise,” McFedries said.

The 2013 BRW Fast Franchise list ranked Jetts as the number one fitness group and the company is ranked  second overall.
