The 24 hour Jetts Fitness franchise continues to experience rapid growth as the model gains popularity across Australia.

There are now more than 30 franchises in the Australian network with venues at Mt Gravatt, Kawana, Bundall, Annerley and Camp Hill the latest to open. The chain expects to have over 200 clubs operating 2012.

The Jetts gym franchise is the brain child of co-founder and managing director Brendon Levenson.

“I realised a lot of members werenÕt overly happy with the restrictions big clubs had in place such as long term contracts, limited opening hours, high prices and pushy sales staff.”

The Jetts concept, which has minimal staff to keep its overheads low, uses a swipe-in card to allow members access at anytime. There are no classes, no crches and no contracts.

“Hotels around the world had been using their own simplified means of the technology to give guests 24 hour access to gym facilities. I knew if we could commercialise the concept and create a convenient, low cost fitness offer it would have a good chance of succeeding,” Levenson said.

Start up Jetts Fitness franchise costs begin at A$150,000 rising to A$450,000 depending on the size of the gym.
