Adrian McFedries, the managing director of franchise consultancy and legal firm DC Strategy, has joined the board of Queensland based 24 hour express fitness franchise business, Jetts Fitness.

McFedries said “IÕve assisted many of AustraliaÕs leading brands to execute franchising best practice principles, and assisted with domestic growth and international expansion. Jetts has real potential to be one of the major successes originating from the domestic franchising sector, an Australian owned brand that has outstanding executional qualities and significant growth prospects in both local and International markets.”

John Lyons, CPA, author of Marketing without Money and BRW columnist, joins McFedries on the board.

Managing director of Jetts, Brendon Levenson, said the decision to bring external expertise to the board was critical to ensure the groupÕs robust growth continued.

“The quality and expertise that John and Adrian bring to the table helps solidify our strategy moving forward in both the domestic and international markets,” Levenson said.

With 75 clubs open across Australia and New Zealand and a further 25 set to open this year, the chain is a one of the fastest growing franchise systems in the country. The chain has plans to open 250 clubs by 2012.
