HydroKleen lands in Tasmania

Seasoned franchisee Craig McShane, who brought The Coffee Club to Tasmania in 2008, has recently introduced the HydroKleen brand to the state.

The franchise will service the entire state of Tasmania, making it one of the largest franchise territories in the HydroKleen network.

Craig opted to invest in a HydroKleen franchise after he identified its business model was similar to that of The Coffee Club.

He believes both encompass a strong product, high-quality marketing and established processes.

“The key to franchise success is in following the system,” Craig said.

“And with HydroKleen Australia, like The Coffee Club, all the homework is done.

“A good operator utilises the head-office support on offer to drive their business and lets the proven brand do its work in the marketplace.”

The franchise has already received domestic and commercial service enquiries from customers in Launceston, Hobart and Smithton in the northwest.

Craig said an Ergon Energy study confirms the HydroKleen process, whereby a heat pump is used to remove bacteria, reduces heat pump running costs by between 10 and 28 percent and improves air quality by reducing airborne bacteria levels.

“The market has been very interested to hear that HydroKleened heat pumps are proven to run more efficiently, save on running costs and last longer.

“HydroKleening means a saving on power bills and health benefits for householders – their family will breath cleaner air,” he explained.

Craig added HydroKleen offers a range of benefits for commercial clients, too. “For commercial sites the service delivers comfort, savings and workplace health and safety benefits.”

Craig and his brother Andrew opened Tasmania’s first ever Coffee Club franchise at Northgate Shopping Centre in 2008, and in 2010 they won the brand’s Single Site Franchisee of the Year award.
