Hudsons Coffee store opens in Burnie, TAS

Burnie, the industrial city located on Tasmania’s north-west coast, is the latest location to receive a Hudsons Coffee store.

The store, which opened on January 7, offers coffee made using the company’s Premium Blend, hot chocolate and tea varieties and cold drinks.

Hot and cold foods, including those from the company’s signature and gourmet ranges, as well as gluten free options are also available.

New franchisee Trudy Latham and her husband Tim are passionate about coffee, and Trudy explains “[we] wanted flexibility and ownership of what [we] do,” so it made sense for the couple to run their own business.

They also recognised that there was a bit of a gap in the coffee market in the city, and that a coffee chain such as Hudsons Coffee could be a suitable fit.

As a result, they approached Hudsons Coffee and proposed the idea of opening a store up in Burnie, and so the process began.

Trudy and husband Tim are looking forward to being their own boss and running the new store, explaining “we are excited to bring our passions for both coffee and the Hudsons Coffee brand to Burnie!”
