Brisbane based travel company Flight Centre is on the look-out for a new location for its global head office.

The company is looking to consolidate its two offices that are located in the Brisbane CBD, one at 545 Queen Street and the other at 316 Adelaide Street.

When the lease commitments at these two properties expire in 2016, the company will either stay within the Brisbane CBD or relocate to the city’s outer suburbs.

The Australian reports Clay Novello, national property manager, Flight Centre said the company is looking to secure properties with 15,000 to 20,000sqm of floor space.

It will also need to accommodate more than 1,800 sales and support staff.

“Flight Centre Limited is one of Queensland’s largest non-government employers and, as such, requires a large commercial footprint.

“Ideally, the property will be B+ commercial grade or a new development near major transport hubs and able to accommodate Flight Centre’s 24/7 operations,” he said.

Novello said stand-alone office towers were preferred, and the company requires lease terms of up to 10 years.
