The first franchise outlet of The Franchise Shop, a five year old consultancy business, will open its doors in NSW/ACT with an experienced franchisee at the helm.

Jane Lombard, the new franchisee, has already owned two franchises and has 10 years experience in the sector. Lombard said “After selling my two previous franchises and having a long holiday, I then spent 12 months researching my next business opportunity. I looked very closely at a lot of franchises, across a broad spectrum of industries and just felt that I was ready to do something a bit more within the industry. I came across The Franchise Shop a number of times and was delighted to learn that they were considering franchising their own business.”

Grant Garraway, The Franchise Shop‘s senior consultant, said “We believe that Jane’s experience as a franchise owner will stand her in good stead when she is working with clients to develop their franchise. Having walked the other side of the street she is in a great position to develop fair and balanced franchise agreements and systems.”

Richard Garraway, director of the international consultancy based in Melbourne, said “We are so excited to see our first franchise up and running. We see such opportunity for this service in the market and with people like Jane coming on board it will be very satisfying to see those opportunities being realised.”
