Are you an aspiring business owner? Do you want to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of being your own boss with the support of an established brand? If so, you can’t miss the Melbourne Franchising Expo 2024.
“The economic climate has led many to seek the stability and support of franchise models, making it an opportune time for potential franchisees,” says exhibition manager Fiona Stacey. “This event is a brilliant way to discover more about what a franchise can offer.
Expo is an ideal forum for business opportunities
“This expo offers a forum to compare and research a wide range of franchise opportunities. With investment levels ranging from under $10,000 to more than $500,000, there’s something for everyone,” she says.
The event showcases franchise concepts from food to wellness, from kids services to accommodation, from maintenance to business services.
Fiona has some advice for visitors looking to find that perfect franchise match.
“When visiting stands at the expo, consider the support and training provided, the financial performance of existing franchises, and alignment with your personal goals,” she suggests.
Brands at the expo include Aramex, Boost Juice, Chargrill Charlie’s, City Cave Float & Wellness Centre, Crust Pizza, Donut King, Fully Promoted, Gotcha Fresh Tea, InXpress, Kitset Assembly Services, Kool Kidz Childcare, Kumon, Luxaflex, Minor Hotels, Plus Fitness, Poolwerx, Rent The Roo, Signarama and The Laundry Company.
And the brands are not just local; the Melbourne Franchising Expo 2024 also introduces overseas brands. Rubber Stone Global and Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks are both new international exhibitors.
Malaysian and Taiwanese businesses keen to develop a presence in Australia are also participating.
Meet Jim Penman, hear from franchisees
The Melbourne-based Jim’s Group is exhibiting at the expo and visitors have a chance to hear from the group’s founder, Jim Penman, in person.
Jim is headlining the popular free seminar program, speaking on ‘Achieving success in business, family, and life’.
If you want to hear from franchisees themselves, the ‘Conversations with Franchisees’ panels are must-attend events over the two-day expo, while the ‘Is Franchising Right for You?’ session is an opportunity to learn more about what it means to be a franchisee.
These free seminars are designed to educate, inform, and motivate and they provide pertinent insights into the franchising world.
Visitors can also seek expert guidance on legal and financial matters related to purchasing and establishing a new business or franchise.
