Early learning gets government boost

The value of early childhood education has been highlighted by governmental changes in both New South Wales and Victoria.

The neighbouring states are set to introduce an extra year of pre-school. This means four year olds can benefit from learning through play.

While the move is a few years away, it’s an acknowledgement of the advantages of directed learning at an early age. And that is something that children’s education franchisees have long known!

Franchised brands been a strong component in the education sector. Parents keen to see their kids get off to a great start are putting more focus on extra-curricular learning. This can be a Kumon maths and English tutoring plan for instance. Or it could be embracing technology with STEM-focused sessions.

The early education sector is a dynamic industry which ranges from one-on-one home tutoring from brands like Tutor Doctor to fun tech sessions with Snapology or language learning with Lingotot.

The sector attracts those with teaching experience keen to make their mark in a fresh way in education. It’s also appealing to entrepreneurs who see the business potential in boosting Aussies’ learning capacities.
