Foam, rubber and swimming pool retailer Clark Rubber is embracing the digital age with the launch of its first-ever smartphone app.

“We’re thrilled to be launching Clark Rubber’s first smartphone app, which will serve as a valuable extension to the expert advice provided in-store at Clark Rubber,” said national marketing manager, Joel Shulkin.

Available for free download on iPhone and android devices, the app operates as an information source for pool owners.

It features a pool care advice section, which covers everything from step by step solutions for ongoing pool maintenance to a pool service booking functionality that links to the user’s local Clark Rubber store.

The app also offers product suggestions relevant to the season, to ensure customers pools are kept in quality working order.

The pool safety component offers an extensive breakdown of the brand’s SAFER acronym, which encompasses everything from pool supervision and water safety skills to pool fencing, preparing for emergencies and general pool rules.

It also offers advice about performing CPR, tips for the safe storage of harmful pool chemicals and information about the laws governing backyard pools in each state.

The app is the latest in a long line of developments for the brand, which includes the relaunch of its onsite pool care service.

“With the latest and greatest in pool products and an expanding pool service offering throughout Australia, an easy to use app that talks to both maintenance and safety was a natural progression for the business,” said Shulkin.
