The mobile car detail franchise, Car Care, found a position on the winner’s podium in the recent Top Franchise survey conducted by 10Thousand Feet.

Car Care, which boasts almost 100 franchises throughout Australia, was listed in third place after Smartline Mortgage Advisors and Kwik Kopy.

The survey questioned franchisees in the network on their views of the franchisor in a number of categories including support, lifestyle, financial.

Car Care franchisees responses gave the established franchise an overall score of 72.

THE BUSINESS

Car Care started out in Western Australia in 1987 and began franchising in 1990; it now has a proven and awarded system and 90 franchise units.

This is not the first accolade for Car Care, which has previously finished in the Top Franchise top three, as well as featuring in the BRW fastest franchise Top 50.

The Car Care franchise has been established for more than 20 years

According to national franchisor, Michael Stringer, the Car Care system has helped people from all walks of life establish a successful business with a good income and lifestyle without the need for a huge investment.

“Many businesses priced much higher than Car Care would not be able to provide the same level of income as we can,” Stringer said.

“The type of job undertaken by Car Care franchisees varies from a basic detail at about $60 to full interior/exterior protection at up to $1250. Customers will vary from regular corporate clients to one-off pre-sale details.

“There is a gross misperception of the Car Care franchise being low income, however, the average franchisees are earning anywhere between $1500 to $2000 per week. The group turnover is estimated at approximately $7.5 million.

“Car Care really is a wonderful opportunity for people looking to balance work, lifestyle and a good income,” Stringer said.
