Brumby’s launches Get Active range

Brumby’s Bakery has introduced Get Active, a new range that seeks to educate and change the way Australians think about bread, one loaf at a time.

A number of new initiatives designed to inform and enlighten customers about their health have been introduced in conjunction with the range.

These include colour coded packaging, description panels on bread bags, in store information cards on all products and a new website outlining nutritional information and ingredient lists.

All five products in the new range are free from preservatives and made from 100 percent Australian grown wheat.

In addition, select items are low GI and offer additional health benefits, including more protein per slice than an average egg.

Brumby’s Bread ambassador Matthew Hayden endorses the new range, and said the loaves are an important addition to every family’s diet.

“Brumby’s Get Active range puts your family first by giving you factual information about the real health benefits contained in each loaf of bread.

“The range features a delicious assortment of loaves, like the Swiss Soy and Linseed, Swiss Seed and Mega Grain, which are perfect for creating healthy meals for your family,” said Hayden.

“Brumby’s wants their customers to know exactly what is in each loaf of bread, and is making it easier to understand just why things like high fibre and low GI are great health benefits.”
