Brumby’s GO! regional stores prove their worth

Brumby’s Go! recently opened stores in South Hedland, Margaret River and Exmouth, that all reported weekly sales well over the national average.

Steve Pagett, managing director of Brumby’s GO!, said the focus on freshly prepared meals from an extensive menu was the key to the brands success.

“It’s the convenient and cost effective meal solutions offered by Brumby’s GO! as well as staples like fresh bread and fresh bread rolls, that mean we are able to fill a gap in the market in towns where there were previously limited fresh bread or ready to go snacks available.”

Pagett is positive these stores will prove to be just as successful as their counterparts but he warns that there are challenges when operating small businesses in regional towns, “mainly attracting qualified bakers to the area as well as retaining customer service staff,” he said.

“However, once these challenges have been overcome our franchisees are experiencing high profitability and a smoothly running business.”
