Betta Home Living and cricketer Matthew Hayden have teamed up in a bid to encourage Australian’s to adopt healthier lifestyles and in particular, a healthier approach to cooking.
Hayden has written a number of cookbooks, including The Complete Matthew Hayden Cookbook and The Matthew Hayden Cookbook Two: Stories and Recipes from Australia’s Gourmet Cricketer.
He is an advocate for promoting healthy lifestyles, which makes him a great fit for the cause.
To celebrate Hayden being appointed the company’s ‘captain of cooking’, Betta Home Living has announced a competition that will see it give away $7000 worth of Beko European appliances.
Graeme Cunningham, CEO, BSR Australia limited said he was delighted to have Hayden, who he believes is a great role model, on board.
“His sporting background and passion for food make him a perfect ambassador for our company and cooking products.
“Matthew is very accomplished in the kitchen and we know he will be able to inspire many of our customers to cooking greatness indoors and out,” he said.
To enter the competition Betta is asking that Australian’s share their favourite family recipe and in 25 words or less explain why they think Matthew Hayden will find their family recipe so unique.
While one lucky winner will receive $7000 worth of Beko European appliances, seven runners-up will each receive a $1000 Betta gift card.
Entries can be made by visiting the Betta Home Living Facebook page or the company’s official website.
