Affordable ordering apps launched for small franchises

Small scale food and retail franchises can now get their own ordering app, allowing them to follow in the footsteps of major national brands such as Domino’s – but at a fraction of the cost.

Eezy Apps has been founded by Greg and Darren Factor, previously the owners and directors of sweet treat retail business Planet Chocolate in Melbourne, along with IT partner Michael Colman. The company aims to offer iPhone and Android ordering applications at a competitive price.

Greg Factor told Franchising “We have developed a system that makes it affordable for every small business to have their own ordering app. For an operator to develop an ordering app system, they would be looking at over $100,000. We charge a setup fee of only $495 per store and $49 per month per store.

“We give our clients access to a CMS where they have the ability to do marketing on the app, changes products and pricing.

“Our goal is to help other businesses increase their sales by increasing customer loyalty and engagement, improving repeat business, giving customers convenience, using technology to make ordering more efficient and keeping up with the times,” said Factor.

“There is very little work required from our clients to get the app going. All we require is their menu and logos to make it happen.

“As an ex retailer, I know how time poor franchisors can be, we have specifically built our system to make it easy for franchisors to get on board as clients,” he added.

The young Victorian franchise Lord of the Fries has already taken up the opportunity.
