Accor specialists scoop tourism awards

Tourism specialists within the Accor network of have taken two prizes at the Australian Tourism Export Council awards.

Bernie Schulz won Outstanding Contribution to Industry, and Kate Marshal scooped the Len Taylor Young ATEC Award.

The pair has been focused on inbound tourism and instrumental in introducing Accor’s Optimum Service Standards for Chinese and Indian visitors, which help prepare hotels to better welcome visitors from these two countries.

The ATEC Awards are voted by more than 1000 members across the tourism industry encompassing distributors, product suppliers and service providers.
