After school care franchise Sherpa Kids is looking for another 10 franchisees nationally and ideal candidates are capable of managing multi-sites.
Dawn Engelbrecht, director operations, said another 10 franchises are projected nationally for the next 12 months.
“Sherpa Kids is creating opportunities for local business owners in areas they are passionate about,” she said.
“We are happy to be wherever parents need us to be.”
Franchisees don’t need to be a teacher or work in child care, but do need to undergo relevant police checks for working with children.
“We are looking for business owners,” said Engelbrecht.
Ideal franchisees, however, are capable of multi-franchising, with territories theoretically up to 10 locations. Sites are located within local schools.
“Our biggest franchise territory consists of five or six franchises,” she explained.
The initial investment of a Sherpa Kids franchise is $31,500 + GST and includes training, marketing to schools, and operational support.
