Tullamarine franchisees Eddy and Nina Yakou have scooped 7-Eleven’s 2013 National Franchisee of the Year and Victorian Franchisee of the Year awards recently.

7-Eleven’s annual Franchisee of the Year Program recognises the top performing Franchisees in the 7-Eleven network, who, though hard work, dedication and commitment to delivering the highest standards, give our customers an outstanding experience every time they visit.

The awards focus on stores that have improved performance in growing sales, store standards, customer service, community engagement and local area marketing.

Nina said “I’m thankful to 7-Eleven for the award and to the Tullamarine community for supporting our business and allowing us to achieve this great result.”

Natalie Dalbo, general manager of operations, said it had been great to see the Tullamarine store set the standard for excellence over the past year.

“Eddy and Nina have done a fantastic job in delivering an exceptional customer experience, and their store has the highest standards of presentation. We are lucky to have them in our network as they deliver an offer to our customers that is truly first choice.”

Other state Franchisee of the Year awards went to Mohammad Anwar for his store in Edensor Park, New South Wales, and Kirandeep and Samandeep Singh for their Eatons Hill store in Queensland.

7-Eleven CEO, Warren Wilmot, said, “Our performance overall this year has been fantastic and that is in no small part to our franchisees, who are the face of our business for our customers. They are the people that work incredibly hard, day in and day out, to operate their stores and serve customers. These awards are a great way for us to acknowledge the role our franchisees play in driving growth and continuing to keep our business first choice in convenience in Australia,” Warren said.
