7-Eleven adopts Mastercard’s speedy pay option

Franchise convenience chain 7-Eleven has teamed up with MasterCard to offer its customers a faster way to pay at their 400 plus stores.  

MasterCard® PayPass™ is MasterCardÍs new contactless card which requires just a simple tap of your card against a reader to pay for transactions of less than $100 at the checkout.

7-ElevenÍs chief executive officer, Warren Wilmot said, ñWith MasterCard PayPass, our customers not only have an added choice on how they want to pay but also, a convenient and secure payment service.

The franchise network is the first petrol and convenience retailer to provide the MasterCard PayPass service in Australia.
