OUR BRAND

Zambrero is the largest Mexican franchise in Australia, currently boasting 300+ restaurants. Our growth nationally has also allowed us to expand overseas with restaurants now operating in New Zealand, Ireland, UK and the USA. We have ambitious Franchise growth plans for further expansion here in Australia and emerging markets. Serving fresh, Mexican inspired food that makes you feel good inside and out, by also helping to end world hunger.

SIMPLE OPERATIONAL BUSINESS MODEL

Our simple proven business operational model is one of the key attractors to joining the team at Zambrero. We can flex our Feel Good Mex to fit in any location including strip site, drive thru, kiosk etc. to suit different budgets and/or site constraints. No fryers, just fresh food.

Plate 4 Plate is our way of giving back to those in need and supports our mission to help end to world hunger. For every burrito, bowl, kids Zam Box or retail item purchased from a Zambrero restaurant, we donate a meal to someone in need. We’re proud to say that we have donated over 90 million meals so far.

Our product is at the centre of everything we do. We focus on providing fresh Mexican inspired food full of healthy ingredients, our meats are slow cooked, and our specially crafted sauces complement our flavour profiles. Our restaurants are designed to highlight our products and ensure they are at the forefront of our customer experience.

HISTORY

Zambrero was founded in 2005 by Dr. Sam Prince, a medical student at the time, in Canberra, Australia. He wanted to create a fresh, healthy Mexican-inspired restaurant while also making a positive social impact. This led to the Plate 4 Plate initiative, where every burrito or bowl sold donates a meal to someone in need. From a single store, Zambrero has grown into Australia’s largest Mexican franchise with hundreds of locations, combining great food with a strong humanitarian mission both here in Australia and internationally with restaurants in New Zealand, Ireland, UK and the USA. We continue to expand by mirroring our success in other local and international markets.

SKILLS

Our Franchise Partners range from seasoned franchise professionals to young operationally minded couples looking to start a new business together. We look for individuals who have a passion and enthusiasm for our food, great customer service acumen, operational nouse and share our humanitarian mission. We will provide you with the training required to develop the skills you will need to effectively manage your own business.

LOCAL & NATIONAL TRAINING & SUPPORT

You will be supported by our dedicated and passionate Head Office team in Sydney and state based  on every step of your Zambrero franchise journey, from initial enquiry through to opening your first restaurant. You will be inducted into the “Zam Fam” through a comprehensive 4-week Franchise partner induction program, a blended learning of both our brand DNA and operations. You will have access to a full team of experts across Marketing, IT/Systems, Operations, Food Safety, Supply Chain, Finance, Design, Build and access to our online learning/resource hub, packed with recipes for success to help you grow your restaurant from day one!
