US brand Planet Smoothie has opened its first two Aussie outlets. The two new stores are in Melbourne and there are plans to add another two locations this year.

Wally Ibrahim, CEO of the Docklands-based Smoothie Group, is bringing the Planet Smoothie brand to Australia in collaboration with franchisor and owner Kahala Brands.

“Planet Smoothie is simply a fun brand that everyone loves,” he said.

Customisable smoothies are part of the healthy options on offer.

Plans for long term expansion
