Professional marketers who have chosen to downsize their career due to family demands no longer have to play second fiddle to their commitment-free colleagues with a new network based marketing business model.
The intouch Marketing model aims to give senior level corporate and agency marketers with families the opportunity to take control and provide value to Australian business at the same time.
Living as a two income family is arguably the norm in Australia today. Australian Census data suggests that in families with children aged under 18 years old, the proportion of mothers who were employed increased from 55 percent in 1991, to 56 percent in 1996, 59 percent in 2001, 63 percent in 2006 and 65 percent in 2011 (http://www.aifs.gov.au/institute/pubs/factssheets/2013/familytrends/aft1/aft1.pdf).
But not everyone finds it easy to match flexibility with a good income and control of their career.
intouch Marketing is a network of marketing consultants, who develop and activate sales and marketing initiatives for business around Australia.
The model provides licensed principals the opportunity to build a business within a supportive culture of collaboration and flexibility with the added advantage of working from a home office.
On the income side, the model is scalable for those with a passion to get their hands dirty and really give it a go, says Paul Ryan CEO and founder.
Ryan, also a co-founder of Wizard Home Loans, says “I am very conscious of how difficult it can be juggling a working career, family and job satisfaction.
“I have a passion for supporting SMEs and intouch Marketing provides the opportunity for existing senior marketers to follow the dream of starting their own business and ex corporate or agency marketers the ability to get back into the work force on their own terms whilst using the skills they spent so many years harnessing.”
Recruiting generation X as licensed principals is a key focus for building the intouch Marketing network.
“Australian business is missing out of some of the best marketing brains in Australia and intouch Marketing is about providing an opportunity to deliver better results for business owners,” says Ryan.
intouch Marketing’s first principal, Kelly Gaunt of intouch Marketing Cronulla, confirms how the model is so well suited to senior marketing mums and dads.
“I have been part of the network for nearly four months and have been able to scale my business to the level of recruiting my first employee.”
intouch Marketing now has seven marketing principals operating in NSW and QLD and has identified a further 150 opportunities throughout Australia.
