For the very first time, bookkeeping franchise First Class Accounts has made it on BRW’s Fast Franchises list.

According to the list, the company is Australia’s 20th fastest growing franchise, and it is the fourth fastest growing company in the property and business services category.

The company reported a growth of 22 percent for the past 12 months, and in the last 18 months it has taken on 45 new franchisees, bringing its total number of outlets to 135.

Clive Barrett, executive chairman, First Class Accounts said the achievement reflects the company’s ambitious growth targets and strong franchise network.

“Our continued strong growth has set us apart in a market where the non-retail franchise average is just 14 percent.

“Making onto BRW’s Fast Franchises is testament to our success and we are delighted to be recognised for this achievement,” he said.

Barrett said the company is aiming to open 30 new franchise outlets and grow by 15 percent in 2013.

There are also plans to expand the company into overseas markets.
