Plus Fitness 24/7 sells 60th gym

Plus Fitness 24/7 has just sold its 60th franchise terrritory, 15 months after opening its first franchised outlet.

The Bondi Junction site in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs is set for a opening.

Gyms at Oakleigh and Melbourne’s Flinders Street have just opened in Victoria, along with a WA gym at South Lake, and two openings in NSW at Gladesville and Bankstown.

This month there are another four gyms scheduled to open their doors at McGraths Hill, Carlingford and Chatswood in NSW, and in Carlton in Victoria.

Franchisors John Fuller and Nigel Miller [pictured] launched their 24 hour gym franchise chain after recognising the downturn in the sale of traditional big box health club franchises in 2009.

Plus Fitness was developed to offer a lower investment, low operating cost model and launched at the Sydney Franchising and Business Opportunities expo in 2011.
